People only read short-form content... Yeah, whatevs!
I was having coffee just before heading off to work.
My wife, carrying our 2-year-old in one arm, was squinting at her phone.
Slow scrolls....Nearly 10 minutes.
She finished just as I was done with my coffee.
(An aside... during winter, sipping a coffee for 10 minutes means it's lukewarm or even cold by the time you finish erghh!)
"What was so interesting?", I ask.
"Oh, sorry! An article on cyber-security. Pretty long, but informative".
"Isn't there a TLDR or summary?".
"There is, but I wanted to read the whole thing", she said.
Being in tech, my wife enjoys reading up on Ai, cyber-security, IoT etc.
Me? Not so much.
So, I disagree when someone says "No one reads long-form content".
They do. If the content is relevant to them.
